General Rules:
Flagman has final say on all pulls, including any pull attempts that are considered unsafe
All tractors must have a seat, fenders, hood, grill or nose piece, guard on belts, pulleys & starters unless they did not have them from the factory
Mower decks & other attachments must be removed
All tractors must have working brakes and steering and must be in god mechanical working order
Foot pedals are allowed in all classes and all exhaust must be pointing upwards
All drivers must attend drivers meeting and it will be determined at the meeting the weight before and after drop, 1st pull and how many times to hook
Use low gear when crossing the scales. Track officials may re-weigh any puller before or after a pull
All tractors will be allowed one pull per class, there will be a 20ft. false start line with the option of restarting one time only. 2nd attempt WILL COUNT
Out of bounds pulls will count to where the tractor went out of bounds. If weights fall from tractor then tractor will be stopped, measured to that point. Full pulls will return to starting line to wait for pull off
No dual tires, studs, 4 wheel drive or ATV tires
Electric fuel pumps are allowed, BUT NO PRESSURIZED FUEL TANKS
NO entries will be accepted after a class starts. If you are not at the line when it’s your turn then it will be considered a forfeit and is non- refundable
Tractors are limited to one rider at all times, this includes tow tractors
Causes for Disqualification
Arguing with officials WILL result in disqualification
Drugs and or alcohol use in the pit area at all
UN sportsman like conduct. Fighting, threatening or attempting to harm another competitors run
Drivers MUST remain in seats for the duration of the pull
These rules are FIRM
Protest Rules
$50.00 protest rule: valves, cams, ports, bore. In order to protest you MUST call engine or item. If legal then driver will keep money. If illegal then the items must be made legal before the mower can return to the track.
No fee for visual protest, but must be made before pull. Tech man and 1 member will have final say
Wheelie Bars
The device must be on ALL tractors and consist of 2 separate sections; each equipped with either a skid plate or wheel and should be rigid enough to support the weight of the tractor
Skid plates are to be at least 3 sq. in. at the ground contact point, and no less than 5” behind the rear most center part of the tire to the center of the pad or wheel axle
Weights and Hitches
Weights cannot interfere with the hooking to the sled. Front weight brackets are as follows:
Stock Class not to exceed 72” from center of rear axle and modified class cannot exceed 96” from the center rear axle
All tractors should have a hitch that is stationary in all directions when pulling with hitch device not more than ¾” thick or less than 1/4” thick and must have at least a 1 ½” hitch hole
Hitches should be parallel to the ground. Tires that are 23X10.5X12 should not have a height of more than 12 in. above the ground and tires that are 26X12X12 should not be more than 13” above the ground
All Stock Class Rules
Factory stock, commercially available garden tractor frame with stock running motor, it need not have the motor that came on it. Frame can be modified, not motor. No high performance alterations to engine or other parts of tractor, stock, OEM available, unaltered replacement parts only for the following camshaft, pistons, valves, rods, carburetor, crankshaft, cylinder head, and ignition system ( Chevy, points are allowed in all classes). Fuel pumps or electric fuel pumps can be used.
18hp cams or stock lift (0.330 cams) stems, and rotary parts are allowed. Connecting rods can be altered for bearing only. Clutches, belts and pulley systems are allowed to be altered to be to withstand heavy pulling. NO LOCKED REARENDS. Maximum bore size is 0.030 overbore standard specs.
Governor control must be working, NO intake standoffs
Hitch height is 12” for 23X10.5X12 and 13” for 26X12X12 tires (nurf&bar tires)
Must maintain wheelbase not to exceed 53” from center of front axle
No alcohol, nitro, or methanol in any stock class
Pulling contest is open to 2 wheels, rear wheel drive rubber tire tractors. No cut 23” tires in any class. NO CEPEKS, PITBULL, RECAPPED TIRES, DUAL WHEELS, CHAINS, STUDS, PADDLE, ATV or LOOK a LIKE tires
ALL TRACTORS turning more than 4000 RPMS MUST have a scatter shield for the fly wheel. It must be 1/8” steel or 3/16” aluminum
Stock Classes
850 and 900 lb. bone stock kids class (ages 5-12) 12” hitch
Follow all stock rules
Up to 14 hp single cylinder 4000 rpms (23X10.5X12 UN cut turf tires)
900 and 1000 lb. Hot Stock (23X10.5X12 uncut turf tires) 950 lb. Hot Stock (23X10.5X12 uncut bar) and 1000 lb. (open class 23X10.5X12” cut turf, bar or ATV tires) 12” hitch
No cylinder head, piston, rods, valves and cam rules. Carb. Must appear stock, no standoff between carb.and block- no rpm limit
Up to 14 hp single cylinder and steel flywheel mandatory ( porting and polishing allowed)
1000 and 1050 lb. Stock (26x12x12 cut or un cut bar tires) no cut turf tires, 13” hitch
Up to 14 hp single cylinder ,6000 rpm limit, stock valves, stock stroke crank, stock length rod and piston ( can be aftermarket)
Stock cylinder head and carburetor can be altered; porting, polishing and Chevrolet points are allowed (no trigger fire)
1050 and 1150 lb. stock 16 hp (26x12x12cut and UN cut) no cut turf tires 13” hitch
Follow all stock 14 hp single cylinder rules, no twin cylinders allowed 6000 rpm limit
1000 and 1050 and 1100 lbs. 18 hp stock (26x12x12 cut or UN cut bar tire) no cut turf tires 13” hitch
Only twin or single class, 4000 rpm max. Limit (must have stock cam)
Cylinder head and carburetor can be altered, ported and polished, and Chevrolet points are allowed (no trigger fire)
Modified Class
Gas or alcohol, porting, polishing, intake standoffs, velocity stacks are all allowed in modified classes
Must be at least 16 years old.
Kill switch, helmet and a dead man throttle are required
All modified hitches are 13”
No CV axle or auto engines
No rules on high performance alterations to engine or carburetor and can run any tire up to 26x12x12
1050 and 1150 lb. 25 hp v-twin stock altered (up to 600 cc for motorcycle), stock appearing tractor not to exceed 60” wheel base from the center of axles
1200 and 1300 lb. up to 800 cc 26x12x12 (no automotive engines)
1200 and 1300 lb. up to 1000 cc 26x12x12 (no automotive engines)
1300 and 1400 lb. open class 26x12x12 (no automotive engines)
